The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) hosts an annual leadership conference for industry professionals, labor representatives, and affiliated contractors. For the 2018 event in Key Largo, FL, TAUC needed a distinctive postcard to serve as both a physical mailer and a keepsake invitation.

The final piece featured custom branding tied to the coastal location and theme, balancing a professional tone with visual creativity that reflected the conference's atmosphere.

Problem / Solution

TAUC’s existing print materials were functional but lacked design cohesion across events. The postcard needed to establish a clear identity for the 2018 conference, encourage attendance, and stand out in recipients' mail.

The solution included:

• A custom anchor-themed crest symbolizing strength, direction, and leadership

• Gold foil-style accents to elevate the sense of prestige

• Clear event details on the reverse, framed in a rope motif for visual continuity

• A bold, legible layout suitable for mailing, posting, or display

Event Clarity: All essential information—date, location, registration details—was prominently displayed on the back, maintaining functionality without sacrificing style.
